Annual Event Balloon Décor Case Study (Crawley)

We’re proud to have a long-standing relationship with The Gatwick School, providing bespoke balloon décor for many of their milestone events throughout the year. Each occasion has its own atmosphere and purpose, and our designs are tailored to enhance the experience for students, families and staff.

Easter Celebrations

For Easter, we created a custom-made balloon bunny in bright blue, filled with chocolate eggs for the students’ guessing challenge. This playful installation quickly became the centrepiece of the school’s seasonal activities and added a fun, interactive element for pupils.

School Proms

Proms mark a major transition for students, and we design each setup to reflect the theme, age group and tone of the event.

Gatwick Gold Brunch & Awards Ceremony

One of the school’s most prestigious events is the Gatwick Gold Brunch, recognising students who achieve gold during the term. These students and their families are invited to enjoy a celebratory brunch followed by an awards ceremony.
We use a smart and uplifting gold and royal blue colour scheme to match the importance of the occasion, creating a polished and celebratory environment.

DMT Dance School

DMT – End-of-Year Show Balloon Décor (Crawley)

Working with DMT (Dance, Music and Theatre) is always a pleasure. Their striking black, red and silver colour scheme creates an instantly recognisable and dramatic look, making every installation feel bold and high-impact.

For their End-of-Year Show, we designed a statement balloon display that complemented their branding and added a stylish backdrop for students, performers and families to enjoy. The décor was created to enhance the theatre atmosphere, tie in with their performance theme, and provide a perfect photo opportunity for the cast.

Crawley Pride

Crawley Pride – Shimmer Wall Installation Case Study

We were incredibly proud to support Crawley Pride 2025, creating a large shimmer-wall backdrop designed to celebrate the event and provide a standout photo opportunity for visitors, performers and organisers. As one of Crawley’s biggest annual community celebrations, it was important to deliver something bold, eye-catching and memorable.

The Brief

Crawley Pride needed a high-impact visual feature that would:

Act as a central photo backdrop for guests

Reflect the vibrant, inclusive spirit of Pride

Be durable enough for an outdoor event

Stand out across the festival grounds

What We Created

We built a full-size silver holographic shimmer wall displaying “PRIDE 2025” in bold black lettering. The reflective discs created a dazzling effect in the sunlight, catching movement and colour throughout the day. To enhance the experience and encourage guest interaction, we added:

A clean, polished shimmer-panel wall

Bold year lettering for clarity in photos

A red-rope barrier setup to elevate the presentation

A social media tag board with QR code for easy sharing

This installation not only created an iconic focal point for the event but also encouraged visitors to capture and share their Pride photos online — boosting visibility for both the event and its partners.

The Result

The shimmer wall became one of the most photographed features at Crawley Pride. Its reflective finish, strong presence and professional finish provided the festival with a high-quality backdrop that aligned perfectly with the celebration’s energy, inclusivity and colour.

The installation received fantastic feedback from attendees and organisers, who loved its visual impact and how well it complemented the overall atmosphere of the day.
